We've got the Christmas tree up, the lights are on, and the presents are starting to show up under the tree...
...what happened to summer? It was just yesterday that I was getting my boat washed and ready to go in the water!
Stay tuned for the 2008 Christmas letter - it's been a crazy year, so it will be a crazy letter!

Hospital - Day 7
Day 7 - my plans to escape are taking shape. After some tests tomorrow morning I should be able to start climbing the mountain of paper that is the discharge process. Curious to find out which takes longer - CAT scan and intracranial angiogram, or filling out a discharge form. Bet on the latter.
PS - banana pudding and nilla wafers for dessert last night. No Jell-O in sight. Although delicious, this could be a sign of unrest in the kitchens. I remain alert. Well, not that alert - this place hasn't heard of caffeine.

Hospital Life
Now that I am online from my new hospital room I can give you updates from the world of the sick. Quick background: came down with bad headache last Friday, doctors found small amount of blood in my brain, and I've been in for observation since. Good prognosis, no aneurysms found, but living in a hospital for a week SUCKS. Most of the nurses are awesome, the support staff and doctors are great. Got my first dose of being talked to like a retarded 2 year old last night. Didn't go well for the Hospital. Now I've got a room with a window overlooking the harbor... hmm...

Thank goodness that they don't care about cell phones!
